About

I am a mixed-methods UX researcher with a BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Design and a Master’s degree in Psychology. For over 6 years at Microsoft, I’ve led high-impact research on developer tools, cloud services, and more— shaping products and experiences relied on by individuals and organizations globally.

My expertise spans foundational, exploratory, and evaluative research. I engage with customers frequently, to enable continuous learning— blending qualitative depth with quantitative validation. I take a flexible, problem-driven approach, adapting methodologies to uncover insights that matter. I’m highly collaborative, treating each partner (product, design, engineering, etc.) as a key stakeholder. I find that this collaborative approach drives more impactful research outcomes-influencing roadmaps, strategy, and product vision at scale.

My research has guided adoption, retention, and feature development in high-impact products (for instance, emerging Azure AI tools and services, VS Code Python and Jupyter extensions). In addition to traditional studies, I seek opportunities to take novel approaches when it can enhance learnings. For example, I’ve designed and-or led various research workshops with focuses ranging from building basic research skills, to individual team planning, to strategic horizon planning with leaders and executives.

Beyond my formal role, I’ve championed initiatives to strengthen culture and inclusivity. These include evaluating the impact of Inclusive Code Review training efforts, founding mini-teams to review and improve recruiting practices, and piloting a “virtual office” to improve connection and collaboration for remote workers.

I bring both technical fluency and deep empathy to my work. I’m driven by research rigor and a commitment to uncovering friction, accelerating adoption, and guiding long-term product strategy.
Ultimately, I want the products and experience I help build to empower people—enabling them to grow, connect, or create on their own terms.
